No. This pump is strictly prohibited from transferring gasoline (petrol), alcohol, or any highly flammable, volatile, or explosive liquids. It is safely compatible with water, diesel, kerosene, and antifreeze.
The pump includes a waterproof spiral-lock cable terminal. You can connect it directly to the dedicated rechargeable lithium battery pack for mobile use, or switch to the alligator clip adapter to power it from a standard 12V vehicle battery.
The teal cap at the bottom of the stainless steel pump is threaded. Simply unscrew it, pull out the built-in stainless steel mesh filter, rinse away any trapped particles under clean water, and screw it back in place.
