STEM Robotics DIY Kit

Build Something. Discover Something.
Turn curious questions into hands-on projects. Assemble moving models, explore a simple circuit challenge or create colorful drawings with a DIY robot. Choose one of two 3-project sets, or explore the full collection with the Complete 6-Project Set.
Choose Your Discovery Set
Each option contains a fixed selection of DIY projects. Pick the activities that interest your young builder, or choose all six for a wider mix of experiments.

Give Curious Hands Something to Explore
Sorting parts, following assembly steps and checking connections give children practical opportunities to think through a task. When something does not work as expected, they can look again, make an adjustment and try another approach.
Build alongside a parent, sibling or friend, and turn each project into a conversation about what makes it move, light up or respond.

Projects supplied depend on your selected set.
Make, Draw & Light Up
The Creative Discovery set brings together three activities with different results to watch and explore.
- Bubble Machine: Assemble a rotating bubble-wheel mechanism and explore how moving parts work together. Bubble solution is required for bubble play.
- Drawing Robot: Build a three-legged drawing model and observe the marks it makes as it moves across paper.
- Fiber Optic Lamp: Assemble a small light display and see light travel through a spray of fine fibers.

Refer to the set list above for the projects included in each option.
Explore Motion & Make a Connection
The Motion & Circuit set combines two moving models with an interactive wire-loop activity.
- Electric Car: Assemble a four-wheel model and explore how a motor and moving components drive its motion.
- Balance Robot: Build the model with two large wheels and observe how its structure moves during operation.
- Wire Loop Challenge: Guide the loop along the shaped metal wire. Contact between the loop and wire completes the circuit and triggers the indicator.
These three projects are included in Motion & Circuit and the Complete Set. They are not included in Creative Discovery.
From Loose Parts to Your Own Creation
These are DIY assembly projects, not ready-built toys. Take your time with each step and ask an adult for help with small fasteners, wiring and battery installation.
- Choose a project: Identify its parts and review the assembly directions.
- Build step by step: Position the components and secure the connections as directed.
- Add batteries: Use the battery type and quantity specified for that project, checking the polarity carefully. Batteries are not included.
- Test and explore: Check the completed model and make any adjustments described in its instructions.

Start with Three, or Explore All Six
Choose Creative Discovery for bubbles, drawing and light, or Motion & Circuit for moving models and a steady-hand challenge. The Complete Set brings both groups together in one six-project collection.
The projects offer different activities to return to: assemble, observe the result and talk about what happened. No coding or app-based play is needed.

The current collection contains the six projects listed above. An airplane model is not included.
