This tool is designed with 6 of the most common pin configurations to fit a wide range of rear disc brake pistons. While highly universal, brake designs vary. We recommend visually checking your caliper piston's pattern against the tool's pin layout shown in the images.
You will need a standard 3/8-inch drive ratchet wrench or breaker bar to insert into the center hole of the cube and turn it.
This tool is specifically designed for rear disc brake calipers that require the piston to be rotated while being compressed. It is generally not needed for front push-in style pistons.
